No Smoking signLihue Airport is a no smoking facility. Smoking is prohibited from “cabin to curb” at the airport.

In addition, smokers must also be at least 20 feet away from any doorway, window or ventilation duct to prent the spread of second-hand smoke.

Signs are posted around the airport to remind passengers about the no-smoking policy.

Smoking is permitted in the following areas only:

  • Grassed area at Ground Transportation Parking areas located outside of each end of the terminal
  • The grassed areas at the ends of the Rental Car Booth
  • The Public and Employee parking lot areas.

The areas the Airport provide has seating and Ash Trays that we ask you use

Violators of the law face fines.
