Visit Google maps for directions to and from KOA.
Travel either north or south on Queen Kaahumanu Highway/HI-19 to get to Kona International Airport. The airport is approximately seven miles from Kailua-Kona town and approximately 25 miles from resorts located on the Kohala Coast.
From Queen Kaahumanu, turn toward the ocean on Keahole Airport Road. Drive approximately .3 of a mile to Keahole Street. Turn right and follow the road into the airport.
If you are returning a rental car, turn right into the rental car subdivision from Keahole Airport Road.
