Persons With Disabilities

Kapalua Airport has worked hard to ensure that passengers with disabilities are able to move through the airport facilities with ease. Passengers with disabilities will generally find Kapalua to be wheelchair accessible, although prior planning is advisable to ensure a safe and comfortable trip.

ACCESSIBLE LOADING & UNLOADING ZONES

Accessible loading and unloading zones are available curbside. Vehicles are not allowed to be left unattended.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING FACILITIES

Accessible parking spaces are available.

FIRST AID

Kapalua Airport is committed to ensuring your safety and security at the airport.  First responder medical treatment is available from the Maui County Fire and Rescue ambulance services as required.  For assistance call 911. 

AEDs

Automated External Defibrillators (AED) are available in the Terminal.

GETTING AROUND THE AIRPORT

Upon request, airlines will provide assistance to passengers with special needs. Please advise your airline in advance to arrange for any special services to ensure assistance.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

Taxi & Limousine Service

Taxi and limousine service is available at Kapalua Airport.  They are located outside of the baggage claim area.

MOTORIZED WHEELCHAIRS

Each airline will provide information on specific procedures for storage of wheelchairs and wet-cell batteries.

RESTROOMS

Accessible men’s and women’s restrooms are available in the Terminal.
