Arrivals & Baggage Claim


Passengers arrive on the second level of the Terminals 1 and 2 except for gates G7-10 and Terminal 3 which is ground level enplaning and deplaning. Signs will direct you to Baggage Claim, Ground Transportation and intra-terminal transportation.

Visitor Information Booths are located in gate areas and baggage claim to assist arriving passengers.

Baggage Claim

Baggage Claim is located on the ground level of all terminals.  Check terminal and roadway signs for the location of the baggage carousels that your airline uses.

You can also check for the Baggage Claim area by going to our Flight Information webpage. Find your airline and flight and note the baggage claim location in the far right column.

If you are picking up an arriving passenger, you can park in one of the public parking lots and find your passenger in the Baggage Claim Area.  Or, you may wait in one of the Cell Phone Waiting Areas for them to pick up their luggage and move it outside to the curb.  They can then call you on a cell phone and you can pick them up.

Curbs are reserved for active loading and unloading of passengers and luggage. Airport security strictly enforces the no parking ban.


Agriculture Declaration Forms

The State of Hawaii Department of Agriculture requires passengers arriving with plants, animals or any agricultural materials to declare them on the Agricultural Declaration Form distributed in-flight to Hawaii.

An Amnesty Bin is located at the bottom of the escalators to the Baggage Claim Area for passengers to discard agricultural items they do not want to declare.

Plant quarantine inspectors are stationed in the baggage claim area to examine all agricultural items.  The Department of Agriculture also requires that dogs and cats be quarantined and special permits be obtained for other pets.
